Epistemology is a branch of philosophy concerned with the theory of knowledge (Willig, 2008). Therefore I tend to adapt the philosophy of positivism for my research. Positivism suggests that there is a straightforward relationship between the world (objects, events, phenomena) and our perception, and understanding, of it. According to Kirk and Miller’s (1986) definition of positivism, it emphasizes positivism’s assumption that ‘the external world itself determines absolutely the one and only correct view that can be taken of it, independent of the process or circumstances of viewing’.

School marketing differs from popularly known industrial marketing in that it aims at improving the quality of life of individuals rather than manufacturing products and making superfluous sales (Wynne, 2007, p. 45). Therefore, the school marketing plan shall encompass a sales or promotion plan, communications and advertising. In other words, the school marketing strategy shall focus on designing, implementing and controlling educational programs that seek to increase the acceptability of educational ideas to a target group in the society.

Sample Essay
Not all children develop their language at the same time even if they are of the same age. The typical language development is that which many normal children follow. At six months, the child is able to vocalize with information and can respond to its name when called. Human voices make the child at this stage to respond via turning its head and eyes even if there are no visual cues. Angry and friendly tones invoke appropriate response from the child at this age (Hamaguchi 2001).

The word plagiarism is defined in different dictionaries as ‘cheating’, ‘stealing someone’s ideas’, ‘copying’, ‘imitating’ etc. It actually occurs when you use someone else’s material, quotations research, content or anything, and present it as your own. Steps to Avoid Plagiarism
Plagiarism is a curse to education. When students are given tasks for writing academic papers and plagiarizing whole content from various sources, they are left deprived of showing their intellectual capabilities. Before plagiarism was given attention, many talented students who completed their academic papers on their own were sometimes given lesser scores than they deserved only because others came up with plagiarized content and were usually up to the teachers' requirements. But now, this curse has been controlled.
