Truancy has costly effects, which lead to more social problems. For instance, the Trenton Truancy Prevention Program shows that 95% of juvenile offenders started as truants. Furthermore, truants are more likely to join gang groups, thus risking getting killed, injured or infected. Truancy has the possibility of stimulating pregnancy and dropping out of school. This is seen through their being undermined by their esteem, low aspirations and educational failure.

America is still the only remaining superpower (Krauthammer 2). The end of communism does not mean the end of war threats, and America is not actually an internationalist. Yes, some view the United States as having a multi-polar system, but in reality, it is unipolar, hence an opportunity for the United States. For example, the United States is positioned to ensure that the 21st century is conducive to Western and American values, which are considered liberal, by using its power in the Mideast and asserting itself in Asia.

Teething is a very common cause of fussiness in babies. It mainly affects infants of between 4 months and 2 years (Barr, 1998. P. 1287). Teething causes soreness in the mouth. This may however cause less crying since the baby is distracted from the agonies by other things that may be going on around them.

Technology offers some of the best opportunities for delivering instruction to engage students in authentic learning, addressing multiple intelligences, and adapting to students’ learning styles. Technology could reduce the educational disparities created by race, income, and region and accommodate differences in learning (Imel, 1999). “Students who are unsuccessful in traditional learning situations can find ways to be successful using diverse technologies” (Wesley, 2004, p. 218-219).
