What is the Relation of Earthquakes and Volcanoes? Earthquakes and volcanoes are closely related to each other. Explosive volcanoes can easily result in the development of an earthquake. Volcanoes that produce acidic lava are the most common in causing earthquakes (Booth, 2011).
When it comes in contact with air, acidic lava cools off very quickly. This causes a blockage in the volcanic vent. As a result, there is no escape from pressure.
The build-up of pressure reaches its limit and explodes through the weakest part of the volcano. The resultant explosion can result in an earthquake of a very huge magnitude.

Computers are used to tabulate complex equations that assist in weather predictions. They are also applicable in numerical turbulence models associated with movement of oceans and the atmosphere. Computer technology is practically applied in every aspect of meteorology. The future of meteorology is mostly dependent on advances in computing. Dispersion modeling is another concept that capitalizes on computer technology to predict the distribution of contaminants from air pollutants.
