Essay: The Wellness Model

On the contrary, the wellness model focuses on the achievement and maintenance of health before illness sets in. Its approach is preventive, rather than curative. The body in this case is viewed as a whole and every aspect of the human being is considered as a contributor to health or illness. It is democratic since it gives an individual the choice to take charge of his/her health.

Essay: The Tourism Board

The Tourism Board considered the above concern, and came up with the idea to construct a cultural district so to speak, that would deal with all cultural aspects of the region, and create an atmosphere that is favorable to the liberty of artistic expression. This would allow for a larger number of citizens to participate in the region’s cultural activities. Thus, the idea of the West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD) was born.

To start with, trade refers to all the activities that involve exchanging of goods and services either for other good or for money . Essay: The Ethical Issues

The ethical issues then include the question of our responsibility to strangers. Clearly, the trekkers would not have thought twice about helping out a relative or a friend (myweb.wvnet.edu, ND). The decision was harder because the Sadhu was a stranger to them, and whether he lived or died could not affect their lives. The second ethical consideration is whether to help someone at the expense of one’s goals and ambitions, especially if helping would mean that the goals would not be accomplished (Zerio, 2010).

Essay: Strategic Management

In 1886, the Statue of Liberty was unveiled in the New York Harbor and Coca-Cola made its debut in Atlanta. It was developed by pharmacist John Pemberton at the Jacobs’ Pharmacy during a moment of inspiration and sheer curiosity. The cola drink was later branded Coca-Cola and in its first year, sold a paltry 9 glasses a day. A century later, The Coca-Cola Company has churned out more than 10 billion gallons of syrup which have been used for its carbonated-drinks range (Pendergrast, 1993).

Essay: The Town of Harappa

According to Meadow & Kenoyer (2001), the town of Harappa occupied an area of 25 hectares and was built on top of mud-brick platforms which were elevated to form the foundation. The town structure was such that there were large buildings used for public services, houses for the locals, craft shops as well as those centers allocated for trade.

Essay: The Severity of the Disease

The severity of the disease, the species of Malaria causing parasite and the part of the world that the infection was gotten from determines the treatment of Malaria. Other factors such as weight, age and pregnancy status usually limit the available options for treatment. Mild Malaria can be treated by oral medication while severe cases may require intravenous drug and fluid treatments in hospital. A drug such as quinine has been used for the treatment of Malaria. Other more effective and friendly drugs have been developed for the same.

Essay: The Pearl River Delta

With the Pearl River Delta bordering it on one side and the South China Sea on the other side, Hong Kong is synonymous with being a city of bright lights and a vibrant nightlife (Census and Statistics Department, 2010). However, this is not all this Special Administrative Region (SAR) of China has that is exceptional. The region has a deep natural harbor that makes it convenient for importing and exporting the goods needed by its populace.
