The Stamp Act was proposed by British Prime Minister Grenville soon after the parliament had passed the Currency Act. It was a means to control the repayment of the heavy debts and expenses that the government had incurred during the seven year war. This is because the British Merchants, immediately after the war, started requesting the government to repay the expenses they incurred during the war by buying British imports. Furthermore, these merchants had to be paid through the British Pound Sterling, which was more valuable than the local colonial currency[1].

Democracy is a concept that has had different perceptions from different religions since time immemorial. Some of the religions that supported this view are Christians, Buddhism, Hinduism, atheism, paganism and Bahai. These religions appreciate the role of democracy in harmonic living. However, there are other classes of religion whose position on democracy is relatively harsh and less hospitable: Islam and Judaism. There is a transparent indication that Miranda rights are indeed unnecessary when dealing with domestic terrorists because without their awareness of these rights domestic terrorists have no choice but to give out information. As clearly observed, these criminals are empowered by the Miranda rights to withhold information from law enforcers, especially if they perceive it to be self-incriminatory. In the worst-case scenario, failure to acquire such important intelligence may pose a greater threat to national security. It was possible that AbdulMutallab may have had contact with other individuals who were planning similar attacks. Without this information, such attacks would not have been prevented and instead led to further killings and increased insecurity.

According to the Fromkins (2004), Germany instigated the First World War. This was evident when Germany supported Austria in the fight against Serbia. This followed the assassinations committed by the Serbia terrorists of Austria-Hungary’s Archduke Franz Ferdinand. Despite Serbia admitting and apologizing to Austria, they still organized the attacks with the help of Germany. In addition, history showed that disagreement between Serbia and Austria was resolved conventionally until Germany instigated Austria to cause havoc to the Serbians.
