There are three significant parts of an essay and they are the introduction, the main body and a conclusion. All these parts are extremely vital to structure an essay in a logical and coherent way. If these elements are not present in an essay it is incomplete and is not worth reading. The introduction is the first part and is always written in the beginning. It should be strong and attention grabbing as to lead the readers into reading the entire essay. After the introduction a main body is required. It is the section of the essay where all the arguments backed by facts, figures and examples are included. It has to be convincing as to give a strong impression to the readers. After both the introduction and the main body a strong conclusion is required. A conclusion consists of a single paragraph. In this article our main focus of discussion will be about writing the essay conclusion. Please continue reading to find out how an essay conclusion is written.
Summarize the Most important Points
By summarizing it does not mean to summarize the entire essay. It requires just the most important points of the essay. Go through your essay once again and determine the most important points of the essay. Summarize those points in not more than two to three sentences. Make sure that it is direct and to the point. There must not be anything that is out of the context as it can confuse the readers.
Provide Solutions and Suggestions
After summarizing all the key points of the essay the next step is to provide suggestions or solutions to the problem you have already discussed in the main body. You can also provide your personal perspectives. This too should not exceed more than two to three sentences at the most. Once again make sure that each point you write is related to the main theme of the essay. It should be direct and to the point. There must not be anything that is out of the context as it can ruin the entire essay.
Restate the Thesis Statement
After you have everything in the right place restate the thesis statement from the introduction to remind the readers about the main objective of the essay.
A conclusion must not be any longer than a single paragraph. It should be direct and to the point. There must not be anything that is irrelevant.
