The relationship between politics and literature in the eighteenth century evolved across the globe. In the eighteenth century, politics and literature in the 18th century had a major effect on British colonies and people who lived there.  The areas of politics and literature in the 18th century can also be compared on the basis of how they address the issues of society. For instance, on a global scale, a lot of political novels do not cater to societal problems. However, literature books do explain different problems that people face while existing in a society.
