Many exemplary successful entrepreneurs are specialized types of leaders that have a definite set of leadership characteristics that enable them to motivate their workforce, understand and be good at what they do. It is also worthy to acknowledge that successful entrepreneurs are very focused in their vision and are immersed in making their venture successful. In order to attain success and transform an organization, a good entrepreneur employs a dynamic and charismatic approach to motivate their employees to feel the same sort of feelings of success that he or she feels towards the ultimate success of the business (Bass, 1995). In this regard, Howard Shultz who as the founder of Starbucks Corporation display use a dynamic leadership style, charismatic personality and vision to propel Starbucks as the premiere specialty coffee house in US. In addition to that, Howard Schultz leadership has enabled   Starbucks Corp to be the world’s largest chain of coffee houses and has become one of the most admired brands worldwide.

According to Bass (1995), he defines transformational leadership in  the aspect  of how a leader or CEO affects followers, who are intended to trust, admire and respect the transformational leader; therefore affecting the change process to the organization.  A transformational leader can transform flowers through: increasing their awareness of task importance and value; activating their higher-order needs; and getting them to focus first on team or organizational goals, rather than their own interests. The three ideals empower a transformational leader to lead the organization’s workforce towards attaining the firm’s mission and vision.  The authentic transformational leadership is grounded in moral foundations that are based on four components denoted as 4i: intellectual stimulation, individualized consideration, idealized influence and inspirational motivation (Bass, 1995).
