Essay: Social systems and biological needs

Sample Essay

Social systems have been associated with biological needs of the persons in the society. Civil societies which in turn become social institutions in different civilizations act as collective means to champion the physiological needs of the person who is a member of that social institution; or it could be that they are speaking on behalf of the voiceless. Eventually, this commitment to satiate the biological needs of the individual person shifted and it now focused on the modalities which these social institutions could address the social needs instead.

This is characterized by the so called social solidarity. Evidently, majority of social systems today come together to create among themselves a stable system where an alteration in a single institution invites an alteration in other institutions. In the society, structures are characterized by police institutions, hospitals, schools and farms just to mention a few.
