In 1942, Americans introduced the Middle East supply center, which aimed at supplying the region with infrastructural developments such as roads, factories, ports, airport, and food. It is during this post war period that the state of Israel was born (24).

American power and influence in the region was demonstrated by the increasing importance of oil and then much put efforts to counter the Soviet Union forces influence (29). The oil boom in the region was the main target of the Americans that made them embrace the region so closely (33). In the year 1945, American president F.D Roosevelt met with the Saudi king Ibn Saud to discus matters of legitimacy of the Arab nation. In these talks, the U.S president offered to give legitimacy and democracy to the country in exchange of a guaranteed oil supply.
